Welcome to the Play-Cricket Web Site of Great Barford Cricket Club

At the recent A G M Michael Beresford was re-elected President of the Club. Michael was a player of Great Barford CC for many years and has continued to support the Club during the past seasons. He was a Vice President and succeeded the late Peter Usher as President.

Michael is also Assistant Club Welfare Officer, his partner Jayne is the Club Welfare Officer and they both have completed the necessary courses for this position.

We played in the Millman Cricket League in 2011 after 70 years in the Bedford and District Cricket League and we are pleased to advise that we won Division 3 of this Leaue

The Annual General Meeting was held on Monday 28th November 2011 at the Anchor, Great Barford,with a good attendance. Ian Ratcliffe was re-appointed Club Captain with Vice Captains Bob Margetts and Gareth Koby.

Nets are booked at Sandy Community Centre from 12th Feb until 18th March inclusive at 12 noon. Please attend if you are interested in playing for the Club. Our outdoor training will commence after the Sunday nets, we will be at the nets at the Playing Field on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
